Choreography

Gabby choreographed the piece "Wait for Me" to instrumental music by Luca D'Alberto in 2023. Her dance was inspired by the many sensations of life and the themes of loss and growth. To watch a video of the dance, click the link above.

Gabby choreographed the dance "Carbon Copies" to instrumental music by Ólafur Arnalds in 2024. The dance "Carbon Copies" centers around the conformity and culture of the ballet world. The main group of dancers represents the perfection and precision of the corps de ballet through their unison performance of classical movements. The different soloists throughout the dance represent the breaking away from the conformity of the group, showing their uniqueness and expression through more contemporary-inspired movements. The ending of the dance portrays the dancers in a stripped-down and authentic form to show that dancers are humans too. "Carbon Copies" was selected to perform in the Division of Dance at SMU's Danceworks performances as well as the Les Danses d'Automne performance with the Dallas Ballet Company.
